100% COTTON MATERIALS

The Economy Series of magnetic sleeping systems uses 100% Cotton. No artificial fabrics or materials are used. Cotton is known to sleep cooler in summer and warmer in winter due to its natural affinity to the human body.

Our Economy Series magnetic sleeping systems are manufactured in China under the strictest quality controls. The raw materials are sanitized and production lines are kept fresh and clean.

Workmanship is excellent with double stitching where necessary to insure long lasting wear. Elastic corner hold downs are added for a better fit and comfort. Cotton is easily maintained and cleaned by mild soap and a damp cloth, then air dried. Do not immerse entire pad in water or washmachine.

PERMANENT MAGNETS

Natural ferrite and ceramic disc magnets are use in the assembly of the Economy Series magnetic sleeping systems. The 15mm (5/8") x 4mm (3/8") disc magnets are glued in place using hypo-allegeric glue and spaced 90m (3˝") apart for the most effective magnetic field. This arrangement produces a bi-polar magnetic field, both North and South, even though the magnets south face is toward the body.

Many American manufacturers prefer to place the North side of the magnet facing the body, whereas other manufacturers offer South facing. They emphasize the importance of south-seeking poles facing the body, because they call south seeking poles North poles. (Just the opposite of US manufacturers).

Since opposite poles attract, the scientists argue that a pole that seeks south must be a north pole. (Here practitioners of magnetic therapy are perhaps more logical than mainstream science, which calls the south-seeking pole a south pole, requiring that the earth's magnetic pole in Antarctica is, by the standad scientific terminology, a north pole.) Dr. Buryl Payne, in his book The Body Magnetic (1988), argues that south-seeking poles calm tissue but north seeking poles stimulate tissue, and you should never over expose tumors or infections to north seeking poles.

If all this seems confusing, consider that in the Southern Hemisphere, the rules are reversed!

The bottom line is that moderate doses of either pole, no matter which way you call them, is not harmful nor dangerous. One of the most ardent advocates of magnetic therapy is Dr. William Philpott of Oklahoma, who publishes his own Magnetic Energy Quarterly. And Dr Ronald Lawerence, President of North American Acadamey of Magnetic Therapy, both state that hundreds of patients have benefited from magnetic therapy, using unipolar magnets.

STRENGTH OF MAGNETS

The strength of magnets are measured by a Gauss Meter. Today's manufactured magnets are permanent ceramic ferrite and able to hold magnetic pull any where from 10 to 3950 Gauss. When rare earth minerals are introduced, such as Neodyium, the magnetic can be pumped up to 12,500 or in the case of MRIs, 25,000. The standard in magnetic pads is 1000 to 3950.

Strength is not as important as magnetic penetration field, the distance away from the surface of the magnet. The greater the field the more benefits derived. The Economy Series magnetic sleeping systems have a penetration field of 9" due to the gauss (3950) of the magnets and the pattern of disbursement (3˝").

Some magnetic pads may have more or less of a penetration field. Larger magnets with the same 3950 strength and a closer pattern can produce a penetration field up to 15", such as our Maximum Series Sleeping Systems.

IMPORTANT: INSTRUCTONS ECONOMY SERIES 100 MAGNETIC SLEEPING SYSTEMS. It has come to our attention that the magnets in our Economy Series are South facing, rather than the expected North facing. Most American manufacturers place the magnets with True North facing the body, China and other Asian countries do just the opposite. Even though the penetration field in both placements is bi-polar, most scientist and practitioners prefer North toward the body in the Northern Hemisphere.

PLACEMENT OF ECONOMY PAD Place the pad “upside down” (opposite of what the label says), the quilted padding toward the mattress, attach elastic corner hold downs to hold in place. Place your pillow inside the pillow protector. However, sleep on the opposite side (opposite the economy quilted side) Or the Pillow protector can be turned “inside out” and then put your pillow into the opening.
